The challenge

Croatia’s outdated educational system lagged behind global innovation trends, leaving younger generations disconnected from modern science and technology. MUZZA sought to reignite curiosity and engagement through an accessible, interactive, and inclusive science event—bridging the gap between academia, youth, and the public while mobilizing support for the country’s future Science Museum.

The solution

We created the 4th edition of MUZZA Science Week—a four-day interactive festival hosted at the University of Zagreb’s Rectorate, under the auspices of the University and the Government of Croatia.

With over 120 live experiments and 180 age-tailored workshops covering robotics, neuroscience, AI, sustainability, and space exploration, the event transformed learning into play.

A volunteer-driven model united 500+ students, 70 professors, and 50+ PhD scientists in hands-on education, while gamified zones and the MUZZAzov social challenge (powered by Siemens Energy) connected science with social media engagement.

Sustainability guided every detail—from reusable materials to eco-themes—proving that innovation and respect can go hand in hand.
